Teknic is the leader in Switchgear & Control gear and also a manufacturer of electro-mechanical devices.The Brief was to design a factory complex which is modern, but had to comply with all rules of the Vastu Shaastra, the ancient Indian tradition of designing buildings.  The building was completed in two phases one in 2011 and the other in 2018. The plan of the buildings was flexible for the ever changing need of the manufacturing, giving them open floor plans for efficiency of work. The building was designed in a site responsive manner, respecting the natural topography and climatically cool by various design strategies. Importantly colour was used as an effective means to induce a sense of excitement and enthusiasm in the building.
