I caught a glimpse of the Canacona Bus stand roof- which looked monumental and calm. But now I see that the trusses themselves are absolutely exquisitely formed. There is an intense poetic expression that one seldom sees in Architecture- anywhere.

We were extremely happy, not only myself but the whole family, with the layout, the space and facility available at the bungalow.

We worked with Rahul's team on Valpoi Bus Stand which won many awards. His designs were extremely thoughtful and creative. Very collaborative in their approach.

It was a great pleasure working with the team and we will do so whenever we need any design, construction or engineering services. We consider RDA as our Partner and not a service provider.

The Redevelopment of PATTO PLAZA, a Commercial public land space in Capital City of Panaji- Goa, was hugely successful due to personal interest, creativity and integrity of Mr Rahul Deshpande, his brilliance in Architecture of public spaces combined with his training in Engineering, and his great team at Ms Rahul Deshpande and Associates, who were the Project Consultants for EDC Ltd, a premier public sector undertaking of Government of Goa. The Redevelopment of Patto Plaza, completed in year 2013, was a difficult project due to existing continued use of this 17 hectares of prime public commercial land space in Panaji, where buildings of several public sector, government as well as private sector, stood constructed and used. It was also difficult, due to uncertainties of location of underground services which were about 20 years old then. It was a proud moment for EDC Ltd when the Patto Plaza redevelopment with completely new infrastructure, layout, with increased parking spaces was completed under supervision of Ms Rahul Deshpande and Associates.

They have always been a very important part of our success journey, right from designing of our very first plant at Goa in 1993, then 2nd plant in 1997, 3rd plant in 2003 and made my imagination a reality by creating an incredible Villa in Mumbai 2004 which also got featured in Inside Outside Magazine. Working with Rahul has been an absolute pleasure. He is a visionary, who combines creativity with a great knowledge of planning; something which is extremely important. 25 years ago Rahul and I both embarked our journey and today Smartlink and RDA both have achieved the milestone of completing 25 years of success.I would like to take this opportunity to thank Rahul and his team for their support and commitment and look forward to having many more exciting years of working together.

Although everything was planned in great detail and not a brick was laid until the complete plan was in place, perhaps a little more thought should have been given to storage and lighting. It was our first own house and a bit of a labour of love. Given that, we were very lucky to find Rahul to work with, with whom we were aesthetically totally in sync. We also happen to agree on the principles with which we would build the house. The relationship between Rahul and us was amicable and enjoyable, even dissent was enjoyable! We ended up not just with a beautiful house that we love living in but a lasting and close friendship. If I were ever to build a house again, I would do it with no other than with Rahul.
